We are excited to introduce Skiff Drive, end-to-end encrypted file storage. Skiff’s goal is to be the collaboration suite for the next generation of the internet. Our first product Skiff Pages came out of beta in November 2021 and allows users to enjoy the freedom of complete privacy with a real-time, end-to-end encrypted collaboration platform. In May 2022, we released Skiff Mail’s Alpha empowering users to communicate securely and easily with an e2ee inbox. Now with Skiff Drive, users can upload any file into Skiff for easy and secure access across all their devices. If you already have a Skiff Mail or Pages account, there’s nothing else you need to do to get access to Skiff Drive. Just drag and drop from your local device and your files will be securely stored with your Skiff pages.

Skiff Drive features

10 GB of storage free

Skiff gives every user 10GB free of Skiff Drive. This means whether you are storing sensitive information like financial documents and medical records, or just want a secure and private place to store all your family photos, past projects, and personal documents, Skiff Drive gives every user enough space to keep all their data in their own hands.Your email attachments and uploaded files, like PDFs, audio, and images will automatically be stored in Skiff Drive.

Sync across all your devices

Accessing all of your files at any time - whether you are on the go or at a desktop - is essential for file storage. Skiff Drive functionality is available through the Skiff Pages mobile apps for iOS and Android as well as a fully featured macOS desktop app. Check them out below:All Downloads are available at https://skiff.com/download

IPFS Integration

All users have the option to store all their Drive content on the Interplanetary File System (IPFS). Skiff partnered up with Protocol Labs, the creators of IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), to allow users the option to store all of their data over a decentralized network instead of a centralized server. To read about how you can store your data on IPFS in Skiff, read out Blog here. https://www.skiff.com/blog/skiff-decentralized
